What do you want to see built at Knowle West Health Park?

Earlier this year, the council launched a consultation on proposals for new housing in Knowle West, including an initial vision for Knowle West Health Park.

Having considered the feedback from this consultation, we’re keen to take a step back and hear more from the community on the future of Knowle West Health Park. A short summary of feedback received is available to download here.

We have listened to your views on housing, other kinds of development (including community and open space facilities), as well as how development can contribute to the Health Park's overall role in the community and in Bristol's response to the need for new homes. Your feedback will help inform proposals for future plans for the site.

This stage of engagement closed on Monday 22nd November 2021.

Early public participation

February 2021 to May 2021

Local residents and stakeholders were asked to contribute their thoughts, suggestions, ideas and issues using the interactive map and aspirations questionnaire.

Open consultation

October 2021 to November 2021

Having considered the feedback from the initial stage of consultation, we’re keen to take a step back and explore what you and the Knowle West community could support at the Health Park. This includes gaining your views on housing and other kinds of development; consider the Health Park as a whole; and how development contributes to the Health Park's vision and purpose. This will inform decisions on what could form part of the plans for further design.

Evaluation of consultation responses

Winter 2021/2022

Following the open consultation, Bristol City Council will review feedback from the community and consider the appropriate next steps for the site, before making any decisions on the site's future.
